ST. MARYS — Dickinson Center Inc. (DCI), a non-profit organization and affiliate of Journey Health System, announced a $1,000 donation made by GM Equipment Rentals toward DCI’s St. Marys’ building project.
A groundbreaking ceremony for Dickinson’s two-story, 12,000-square-foot facility took place April 10 and DCI’s Building for Tomorrow Capital Campaign volunteers are engaged in a communitywide fundraising effort. Through the generosity of individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations, representatives said, DCI has raised $1,168,469 million and has a remaining total of $331,531 to reach its $1.5 million goal.
“On behalf of the entire committee, I extend our deepest gratitude to GM Equipment for their generous contribution towards our new building project,” said Frank Straub, campaign committee member. “Their support plays a crucial role in our efforts to expand our facilities and enhance our services. We are immensely thankful for GM Equipment’s commitment to our community’s growth and well-being. This donation not only helps us achieve our goals but also strengthens our capacity to serve those in need more effectively. Thank you for being a fundamental part of our future.”
Drew Dobson, GM Equipment Rentals general manager, said, “GM Equipment Rentals is a locally owned and operated business. We are very excited for the many opportunities and resources the new Dickinson Center will bring to the St. Marys community. It is nice to see a much needed revitalization of the city corner. We are happy to contribute to great causes such as this at all of our locations spanning across Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan”
