No injuries in Boot Jack Road Crash
RIDGWAY — The Pennsylvania State Police, Ridgway barracks, responded to a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, May 3, at 7:26 a.m on Boot Jack Road near the intersection with Shelvey Summit Road in Ridgway Township.
According to the police report, Brian Everly, 23, of Kersey, was traveling south when he errantly traveled into the northbound lane in an attempt to make a left turn. Andrew Kunselman, 48, was traveling north on Boot Jack Road, when his vehicle was struck by Everly’s vehicle.
Everly was charged with vehicle turning left.
No injuries were reported.
Ridgway Ambulance Corporation assisted on the scene.
Minor injury and charges in one vehicle accident
RIDGWAY — Ridgway based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on Tuesday, May 3, at 9:24 a.m on Mefferts Run Road in Jones Township.
Per the report, John Stumpf, 46, of Wilcox, was traveling north for a maintenance test drive, for steering and power train issues. While navigating a right turn, Stumpf encountered a steering malfunction, according to the report, and was unable to maintain control. The vehicle struck a tree.
Stumpf sustained minor injuries but was not transported. He was charged with registration and certificate of title required.
