A 19-year-old Penn State University student from New Jersey who was reported missing Thursday evening has been found dead, State College police reported Friday.
The female student was not identified by police, but university officials identified her as Justine Gross, a third-semester student in the College of Liberal Arts, Her hometown was not released.
”Currently, State College Police and the Centre County Coroner’s Office are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. Preliminary information available to investigators indicates the death to be accidental in nature.,” read a statement released by officers. “No further information is available for release at this time and will be provided as possible in the future,” it continued.
