OLEAN, N.Y. — Community Broadcasters LLC has announced an all new radio station in the Olean market. WHDL is now Hot 107.1 FM a CHR.
Hot 107.1 FM will be simulcast on 1450 AM and 107.1 FM. This is a brand new signal in the marketplace.
“This is a great opportunity for Community Broadcasters to expand their footprint in the Olean market,” John Morton, market manager said. “This area deserves a CHR radio station that cares about the community as much as the music.”
Hot 107.1 FM will play today’s hottest artists from Justin Timberlake, Pink, Twenty One Pilots and Adele to name a few. Hot 107.1 will feature nationally syndicated The Kidd Kraddick morning show from 6 to 10 a.m. on weekdays, Franiak the Maniac in the afternoons and 107-minute music sweeps.
Community Broadcasters LLC is co-owned and operated by Jim Leven and Bruce Mittman in partnership with Northwood Ventures in Long Island, N.Y. Mittman also owns and operates Mittcom, a full-service advertising agency headquartered in Boston, Mass.
Community Broadcasters LLC currently owns and operates 46 radio signals 16 signals in Elmira/Corning, Olean, Ogdensburg and Watertown, N.Y. as well as 26 signals in Florence, Sumter and Orangeburg, S.C. and four signals in Fort Walton Beach-Destin, Fla.
