KANE — A Good Friday service will be held at the Lebanon Lutheran Church from 1 to 2 p.m. 

The church is located three miles east of Kane on U.S. Route 6. 

The theme will be “The way of the cross.” 

Featured in the liturgy of this service will be the narrative reading of the passion story according to the Gospel of John. 

Participating will be the Rev. Bill Waterman, pastor of Tabor Lutheran Church in Kane; William Rooke; and the Rev. V. Theodore Benson, pastor of the Lebanon Lutheran Church.
