“This was by far our best meet of the year and we will keep working to improve. It’s always good to compete with Dubois. We had a lot of personal bests,” said Bradford coach Larry Stillman. “Alyssa Mangold won 4 events, and her 100 hurdle time puts her in the top 5 all-time in the event. Aliya Corignani won 2 events and she has dropped 3 seconds in one week in the 300 hurdles.
“Our 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 relays really ran well. Emma Pilon cleared 5’ in the high jump for the first time this spring and Bella Prince and Maranda Davis had good days sprinting. Lillian Erickson won the javelin and Sophia Lama took second in the discus with a 20-foot improvement.”
The Lady Owls travel to the Hermitage Invitational on Saturday.

Phinn Chamberlain claimed the mound win, striking out five and walking two while pitching a two-hitter.
On the mound for Johnsonburg was Aiden Demay, with five walks, four surrendered hits and no strikeouts.
SOFTBALL St. Marys 12, Bradford 0 Kaylen Eozzo had a home run and a double to key St. Marys to Tuesday’s victory.
On the mound for St. Marys was Avery Eckels, who struck out 11 and pitched a no-hitter, also walking none.
Suffering the mound loss for Bradford was Daisy Greene, who walked five and gave up nine hits, striking out none.
Coudersport 21, Cameron County 1 EMPORIUM — Laura Dunn had three hits in three at-bats with two RBIs to lead Coudersport. Hannah Fleniken had a double and five RBIs, while Ciarra Davis, Ella Wahlers and Claire Daisley each added three.
On the mound for the Lady Falcons was Fleniken, who struck out six and walked six while pitching a no-hitter.
For the Lady Red Raiders, Hailey McAulay was on the mound, walking nine and giving up 15 hits while striking out none.
Brockway 17, Johnsonburg 3 JOHNSONBURG — Payton Craft tripled, doubled and had four RBIs in Brockway’s victory.
Also leading the Lady Rovers were Rheanna Spinda, Elysabeth Myers, and Ella Reitz, each with two RBIs.
Navayda Smith earned the mound win, striking out two and giving up seven hits.
On the mound for Johnsonburg was Natalie Dunworth, who struck out four and gave up 16 hits.
