Peggy Bartlett
Peggy A. Bartlett, 59, of 47 South Gate Road, passed away Saturday (April 12, 2025) at her sister’s home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born March 20,1966, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late L. Wayne ‘Slick’ and Patricia A. (Schadt) Bartlett. She was a 1984 graduate of Bradford High School.
Peggy was employed at Keebler Co. as an inventory clerk. Later she cooked at the Lighthouse Restaurant and the Derrick City Diner.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling in the Sunday Night and Monday Night leagues at Byllye Lanes. She was an avid sports fan and followed the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Lakers and the PGA. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, and her loyal friends who were there to the end.
Surviving are one sister, Susie (Craig) Ostrum of Bradford; two brothers, Steve (Judy) Bartlett of Bradford and Andy Bartlett of Denver; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by one sister, Cheri L. Moore, who died July 15, 2010; and one brother, Dennis R. Bartlett, who died Dec. 5, 2024.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday (April 19, 2025) at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave., where a funeral service will follow with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
