Bradford hurdlers finish in Top 10
BROOKVILLE — Bradford’s Aliya Corignani and Olivia Funk finished in the top 10 for the 100 hurdles Saturday at the Brookville Invitational.
Corignani was ninth with a time of 17.87, while Funk was 10th with 18.15.
“It was a cold day for everyone, but we improved in all of our events,” said Bradford coach Larry Stillman. “Aliya Corignani had an outstanding day finishing 5th in the triple jump having just started in the event a few days ago and in the hurdles.
“Olivia Funk had a good 100 hurdle race Grace Close had her best triple jump and all of our distance girls and sprinters improved. Lillian Erickson and Sophia Lama had good javelin throws.”
