Bradford, Coudersport claim baseball wins
Talan Reese struck out 14 en route to the mound win Monday. He pitched a one-hitter with no walks in Bradford’s 8-0 victory over Warren.
Talan Reese, Evan Whitmore, and Anthony Lama each had RBI singles in the win.
On the mound for Warren was Broc Bryan, who struck out five, walked three and gave up six hits.
BASEBALL Coudersport 15, Otto-Eldred 0 DUKE CENTER — Mason Roessner and Chase Wahlers each had three RBIs in Monday’s win over O-E.
On the mound for Coudersport was Lawson Wetzel, who struck out five and walked eight.
For Otto-Eldred, Ryan Schenfield took the mound loss, striking out one and walking five while giving up four hits.
Cowanesque Valley 15, Oswayo Valley 4 SHINGLEHOUSE — Loagan Stickler had a home run and a double for Cowanesque Valley in the win over OV.
Cow Valley scored eight runs in the fourth to guarantee the victory.
Also leading CV were Logan Huntington and Hunter Simonds, each with a double and two
O-E defeated Coudy 10-0.

SOFTBALL Otto-Eldred 10, Coudersport 0 DUKE CENTER — Carrie Drummond had a solo home run and went two-for-three for Otto-Eldred.
On the mound for O-E was Baylee Francis, who struck out nine and walked three while giving up four hits.
Suffering the mound loss was Hannah Fleniken, who struck out seven and walked seven while giving up 10 runs.
Oswayo Valley 17, Galeton 2 SHINGLEHOUSE — MaKenna Manning had an inside-the-park home run and Jadyn Fleischman doubled to key OV.
On the mound for the Lady Green Wave was Eva West, who struck out eight and gave up three hits, walking none.
Suffering the mound loss was Makenna Schott, who struck out five and walked eight while giving up 10 hits. TENNIS St. Marys 6, Brockway 1 BROCKWAY — St. Marys swept the singles matches and won two out of three doubles Monday.
Brockway’s sole win came in Doubles #1, where Adam Lin and Aiden Wilcox defeated St. Marys’ Merrick Leckey and Carter Dynda 8-2.
“We have not played a match in over a week and it showed. The wind and being on clay threw both teams off their games and drug the match out,” St. Marys coach Tim Henry said. “Three and a half hours of tennis was a bit much. We are in desperate need of quality practice time to get back in rhythm. We were glad to get the win and get the freshmen some more experience.”
