Trump can’t be bothered
I applaud Francis Carloni’s recent letter to the editor on the ineptitude of President Donald Trump, and permit me to add a postscript.
On April 3, the remains of four American soldiers, who died in an accident during NATO exercises in late March in Lithuania, were returned to Dover Air Force Base. Remains of U.S. service personnel being returned to this nation are often received by the commander in chief. But Trump wasn’t available for this solemn occasion (Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth was on hand); Trump was at his golf resort in West Palm Beach, Fla., entertaining leaders of the Saudi-sponsored LIV Golf tour.
While Trump constantly claims he’s “winning,” he’s still a loser in so many ways.
