It is time for the community to come together and celebrate the class of 2025.
For graduating seniors who are just starting out on their adult lives, there is nothing like a little encouragement from friends and loved ones.
Those who would like to send positive messages to Bradford Area High School graduating seniors can do so through the Red Envelope program, which is returning for the second year. The program, offered through the Bradford Area Education Association, is open to anyone in the community who would like to share the love.
The program ‘provides an opportunity for anyone to submit a letter or card of congratulations or well wishes to this year’s senior class,’ said Ashlee Colwell of the BAEA.
The program proved extremely popular last year. ‘We received over 2,000 cards and letters from families, community members, local organizations and businesses,’ said Colwell.
All members of the class of 2025 will be included.
Those who have a specific senior in mind should include their full name on the card or letter. The BAEA is also collecting messages addressed to the entire class.
Those who are sending a general message should address their card or letter ‘To a Graduating Senior.’
Cards and letters can be no larger than 8X10 and must not include packages, gifts or money. All cards and letters should be flat. Be sure to write the student’s full name on all envelopes if including several messages inside a larger envelope.
Messages should be addressed to the student’s full name at Floyd C. Fretz Middle School — Red Envelope Program, 140 Lorana Ave., Bradford, PA 16701.
All cards and messages should be sent as soon as possible. They must arrive at Fretz by May 9 to ensure they are properly distributed before graduation.
Bradford Area High School’s Red Envelope program has returned for its second year, celebrating the class of 2025 this time.
