A-hunting we will go

A slew of activities will be held throughout the region to celebrate Easter, including many egg hunts and several opportunities for little ones to visit with the big bunny himself.
Bradford Township will host an Easter egg hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Branch Ball Field on Irving Lane. Ages 1 to 12 are welcome.
Bradford Regional Airport will host an Easter bunny visit beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Saturday. Free photos with the bunny will be available throughout the morning. An Easter egg hunt will follow beginning at 10 a.m. Children will be grouped into ages 0 to 3, 4 to 6 and 7 to 12 years. In addition to the eggs, they will have a chance to win a wagon or bicycle. Rain boots are suggested.
The McKean County Fair Association will host an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday at the McKean County Fairgrounds. Children as old as 10 years old are welcome.
Mount Jewett Rotary will host an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. April 12 at Mount Jewett Community Park. The Easter Bunny and Big Level Bear will be available for pictures at noon at the Kinzua Country Store.
There will be an Easter Bunny Pancake Party held from 9 a.m. to noon April 12 at the Kane Area Community Center. Tickets are $5 per person; ages two and younger admitted free.
Awakening Alliance Church and Ridgway Chamber of Commerce will host an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. April 12 at Fireman’s Field in Ridgway. This hunt will be packed with more than 10,000 eggs. Children 10 and under are welcome.
The Wanderer’s Motorcycle Club will host its first ever Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. April 13 at the clubhouse on Route 59 in Lewis Run.
Bring your baskets because there will be plenty of surprises along the way.
Little ones will be delighted to have Breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8 to 11 a.m. at Hilltop Fire Department on April 19. Enjoy pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs. Donations of $10 per plate are appreciated. Guests can also buy a ticket for the Easter raffle and perhaps win a basket of goodies or a giant stuffed Peep.
