Get your girlfriends together and celebrate a night of health and wellness during Girl’s Night Out: Spring into Health to be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bradford Club. Tickets are $25 per person and include the cost of refreshments.
This event, hosted by the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce, began last year. It was such a hit that they decided to make it an annual activity.
‘We had a lot of excellent feedback last year and we are excited to offer this again,’ said Heidi Scrivo, executive director of the chamber.
The event is designed to help locals better understand the landmap of health and wellness vendors in the area.
Guests will be given passports to encourage them to visit a variety of booths.
‘If you visit seven or more vendors you can turn your passport in and get a little gift,’ Scrivo said. The goal of the event is to bridge the gap between women who have health concerns and the services that are out there to help them. ‘It can be confusing nowadays to figure out where you should go for what,’ said Scrivo. ‘This allows ladies to ask their questions to real people and get the information they need.’
The event will be filled with activities such as mini massages, reiki, fitness demonstrations, health screenings, an oxygen bar and more.
Guests will enjoy a delectable meal of soup and sandwiches with cream puffs for dessert. Phoenix Physical Therapy will offer complimentary spa drinks — herbal teas and fruit water. Ladies may also choose to purchase a cocktail.
The event will be packed with vendors who are ready to answer questions. Health vendors will include Bradford Regional Medical Center, UPMC Kane and The Guidance Center.
‘There will also be vendors who provide wellness services as well as female-owned businesses in the area,’ said Scrivo.
Wellness vendors will include Escape Aqua Massage, Athena Nutrition, Hot Hands Reiki and Mary Doyle with Pound Magickal Crystal Store.
Also present will be On the Side Books and Kreative Threads, among

Tickets for the event are available now on the chamber’s website, or at the door on the night of the event.
