The show goes on!
I had the great privilege of attending the Bradford Area High School presentation of “Willy Wonka” on March 16. Because of the very stormy weather we had that day, the power went out at the school less than halfway through the musical, but the cast never missed a beat.
Those gifted young people, with no sound, no lights and a very jarring situation, completed the show in Broadway fashion. It was very impressive to see how well-rehearsed they were and how talented the students were. “The show must go on” is not just a saying, I guess.
Thank you, to vocal music instructor Andrew Dutko and all involved for a stellar performance!
