Our Legacy Fund donates over $235,000
American Refining Group’s (ARG) Our Legacy Fund Committee announced the successful completion of the fund’s first official grant cycle, totaling $237,706.86 awarded to 28 local nonprofit organizations.
The inaugural grant cycle celebration was held Feb. 18 at the Bradford Club, with many of the awarded organizations in attendance.

During the event, the fund distributed more than $235,000 to 28 local nonprofit organizations.

The fund is managed by ARG employees and committee members include Amy O’Neil, Nicole Butler, Alyssa Holsinger, Brenda Fish, Cheri Sera, Ed Dallenbach, Jim Kelley, John Landes, Kelly Taylor, Kevryn Dixon and Lisa Midla.
“The mission of our fund is straightforward: to empower non-profit organizations through strategic financial contributions,” committee members said in a press release. “We are dedicated to fostering impactful social change, advancing equity, promoting sustainability in our communities and identifying unmet needs to ensure that these organizations not only survive but thrive. By partnering with nonprofits that demonstrate effective solutions to critical issues, we can drive meaningful change together.”
Interested in applying for a grant in the next cycle? The application process will be administered by the McKean County Community Foundation, a nonprofit grantmaking organization that works with donors to achieve their philanthropic goals while enhancing the quality of life for people in the region. Grants are available to any school, municipality, faith-based or non-profit 501©(3) organization that serves local communities.
