Mady Errick scored with a put-back layup with four seconds left to lift Port Allegany over Keystone Tuesday in District 9 2A girls Semi-final action.
Port Allegany came back from a 34-16 deficit at the half to claim the victory.
Also leading the Lady Gators were Ella Moses with nine points, 11 rebounds and seven steals and Peyton Gordon with 12 points and eight rebounds.
Port Allegany (18-5) will take on Redbank Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gym. This will be Port’s first District Final appearance since 2013.
Keying the Keystone offense were Ashlee Albright with 18 points and Bella Brandon 10.
Kane faces Keystone for the third-place spot on Feb 28, time and site TBD. Following that game, the third place winner will play the third-place winner out of District 6 at a D9 neutral site on Tuesday, March 4, for a spot in the PIAA playoffs.
In Tuesday’s other matchup, Kane fell to Redbank Valley 65-33. Kane has lost three of their last four contests on the court.
Leading the Lady Bulldogs were Mylee Harmon with 27 points and Adyson Bond with 20 tallies.
