Control Chief Corp. announced the appointment of Theresa Funk as its new Human Resource director, reporting directly to CFO/Partner.
Funk brings a wealth of professionalism and experience related to manufacturing and corporate relations in her new role, representatives said, and will be instrumental in human resource management and company benefits, as well as corporate training.
Funk was previously employed in various sales and account management positions at Zippo Manufacturing for 27 years. In these roles, Funk was successful at increasing sales volume, acquiring new accounts, managing a significant volume of territory consisting of both domestic retail and wholesale customers. Funk was successful at serving a wide array of sales, marketing and leadership roles.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Houghton University, and has a variety of team building, leadership training and organizational skills. She also serves on various community boards.
