The Bradford Blizzard capped off an undefeated regular season with a 10-4 victory over Western Door on Saturday.
Griffin Atteberry led the offense with five goals and an assist, while Emmett Speaker added a hat trick and an assist. Jack Rhoades found the back of the net twice, and Emmett Callinan contributed two assists. Cooper Morris also recorded an assist.
Yazhier Kervin, Karli Frederico, and Ezra Crozier played strong in the offensive zone, keeping the pressure on Western Door. Goaltender Zedryx Kervin delivered his best performance of the season.
With defenseman Parker Rose sidelined due to illness, Liam Medina, Carter Geer, and Lily Schine stepped up to anchor the blue line.
Over the next two weeks, Bradford will play three games in the round-robin playoffs, beginning with a trip to West Seneca on Sunday. The team will face three tough West Seneca opponents, with every game expected to go down to the wire.
“Mistakes are going to happen—we’re a 10U team still learning the game of hockey,” said Coach Doug Atteberry. “Our goal is to learn from those mistakes and limit them as much as possible.”
