SMETHPORT — A blood drive will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Feb. 20 at Smethport Fire Department, 109 S. Nelson St.

Community Blood Bank of Northwestern PA and Western NY is looking for new donors to donate double reds and plasma if you are an O donor, A- donor, or AB donor call Raven at (814) 596-3395 for more information.

The need is year-round, but February is critical, representatives said, as the colder months typically bring fewer donors.

Call (814) 596-3395 to schedule an appointment, which is encouraged to reduce wait time but not required. Walk-ins will be taken as space allows.
