Local students were among more than 800 named to the fall 2024 president’s list at Commonwealth University.
Among those named to list were Brianna Beck of Weedville, Lock Haven; Mary Jo Cheatle of St. Marys, Clearfield; Brett Chilson of Port Allegany, Mansfield; Emma Ely of Kane, Lock Haven; Kiri Emmert of St. Marys, Bloomsburg; Britney Greeley of Eldred, Bloomsburg; Victoria McCarrol of Kersey, Clearfield; Caden Roys of Port Allegany, Mansfield; Gina Salvaggio of St. Marys, Lock Haven; Katherine Sheeler of Rixford, Mansfield; Paige Smith of Bradford, Lock Haven; Madison Stahli of Mount Jewett, Mansfield; Madison Taylor of Shinglehouse, Lock Haven; and Kylie Welsh of Austin, Bloomsburg.
The list recognizes those students who have achieved academic distinction. To qualify, the student must have earned a GPA of 4.0 in 12 or more semester hours of letter grades.
HARRISONBURG, Va. — Sydney O’Leary of St. Marys was named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the fall 2024 semester.
Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA between 3.5 and 3.899. O’Leary is majoring in communication studies.
WILKES-BARRE — Ava Wahlers of Coudersport was named to the dean’s list at Wilkes University for the fall 2024 semester.
To be eligible, students must obtain a minimum 3.5 grade point average and carry at least 12 credits.
