ST. MARYS — State Rep. Mike Armanini, R-DuBois, announced a clinic for Property Tax/Rent Rebate (PTRR) applications will be held at his office 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 6 at St. Marys Senior Center, 72 Erie Ave.
“This event, open to the public, is one of the many ways my office seeks to assist the community,” Armanini said. “PTRR is incredibly important to many people in the Commonwealth, and we want to help make sure the applications are filed efficiently and effectively.”
Constituents of the 75th attending this clinic should bring the following: Driver’s license or photo ID; All income statements for 2024.; Social Security 1099, disability, pensions, wages, interest, dividends, etc.; Bank information, account and routing number, if you would like direct deposit.
Renters should bring a signed rent certificate from their landlord, certificates are available at the senior centers or Armanini’s offices.
Homeowners should bring paid property tax receipts from 2024, spring and fall.
In the case of a different name on tax receipts, bring a Life Lease agreement that states you can live in the house and are responsible for payment of property taxes.
Armanini’s office will host additional PTRR clinics:
Feb. 25, 10 a.m. to noon, Bennetts Valley Senior Center; 149 Plum St., Weedville.
Feb 27, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fox Township Senior Center; 365 Main St., Kersey.
March 4, 10 a.m. to noon, Johnsonburg Senior Center, 430 Center St., Johnsonburg.
March 5, 10 a.m. to noon, Ridgway Senior Junction, 321 W. Main St., Ridgway.
