I had to write and voice my views on President Trump. Recently, I have read some of the vitriolic letters against him and I couldn’t disagree with these critics more. The last four years were a terrible time in our nation’s history. President Biden’s presidency may rank as the worst one ever.
In contrast, President Trump’s first term was a very successful one, only to be tainted at its end by the worldwide COVID plague. There was record economic growth for all citizens and sectors, a nearly secured southern border, no wars in Ukraine and the Middle East and the Abraham Accords between Israel and United Arab Emirates and Bahrain — mediated by Trump’s State Department — were positive developments.
If that latter negotiation had been done by a Democratic president, the legacy media would have demanded and pushed for a Nobel Peace Prize. But Trump accomplished that, so they pretty much ignored it.
On social issues he comes down in the middle-right. He was not for banning abortion outright (he’s wrong; it’s barbaric) but he is for some restrictions and for it to be decided state by state.
On gender, he’s just being a common-sense promoter: Men should not be competing against women in sports.
And, “newsflash,” there are only two sexes, nature’s occasional anomalies notwithstanding.
President Trump won a landslide in the election. He’s already done more work than his predecessor had done in four years, and it’s only been a week!
And, finally, the January 6th issue has been tainted by so much disinformation as to be obscene. Trump offered up to 10,000 National Guard troops to former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi at that turbulent time. Another example of the legacy media’s lies against Trump.
