KANE — The Bradford Youth Basketball League All-Stars went 2-1 at Kane on Saturday.
In the fourth-grade game, Roman Kuhn tallied five points, six rebounds and four assists to lead Bradford (2-0) to a 33-4 win. Bryce Crappio scored 10 points, Brecken Placer added four points, five steals and four assists, and Evan Luna pulled down four rebounds.
Brock Crappio, Mason Haynoski and Jameis Furlong led the Bradford fifth grade squad (2-0) to a 35-23 win. Haynoski was credited with eight points, seven steals, five assists and three rebounds; Crappio recorded 20 points, four rebounds and two steals; and Furlong chipped in four points, four steals and two each of blocks, rebounds and assists. Michael Ferchak hauled in five boards and picked up two steals.
In sixth grade action, Bradford (1-1) saw a hard-fought battle tip Kane’s way, 37-33, despite a double-double by Will Pantuso and 23 points from Eli Haynoski.
Pantuso ripped down 10 rebounds to go with his 10 points and two blocks. Haynoski added two assists and two steals, Andon Troisi grabbed four boards, and Jaxyn Eckstrom added two steals and two rebounds.
Bradford returns to action at Sheffield on Sunday.
