LabelPack Automation announced the promotion of Kate Colella to controller.
In her new role, Colella will oversee company finances, taxes, management reporting and human resources.
Colella began her journey with LabelPack as a summer intern in 2017. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in May 2018, she transitioned to a full-time position as a staff accountant. During her tenure, she has made significant contributions, including documenting accounting procedures, improving cash flow, reporting operating results to management and assisting with the implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
Additionally, Colella recently passed the CPA exam and is now a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania.
“LabelPack is very excited to see Kate step into this important role,” said David Ferguson, president of LabelPack. “Her years of experience with our company make her well-positioned to help us achieve our growth goals. Promoting from within has always been a priority at LabelPack, as it allows both our staff and customers to benefit from the expertise developed over time while maintaining the high standards of our brand.”
A lifelong resident of Bradford, Colella has recently relocated to Kernersville, N.C., where she will work from LabelPack’s Greensboro office.
LabelPack Automation provides label application equipment, printed products and related services to the packaging industry. The company comprises two locations, LabelPack corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Bradford and the service and fulfillment center in Greensboro.
