TOPS 16
The weekly meeting of TOPS 16 was held at the First Presbyterian Church at 54 E. Corydon on Wednesday.
The meeting was called to order by leader Dianna Lewis with the TOPS Pledge.
The song was “To Tops Club We Will Go,” to the tune of “Farmer in the Dell.”
Weight recorder Carole VanSickle and co-leader Jeanne Lowe weighed in 13 members with a loss of 12.6 pounds and one staying the same. Three were excused.
The best loser in waiting was Christopher Lathrop, and the officer of the week was Dianna Lewis.
The food to avoid is pizza. The nickelodeon was sandwiches. The fruit is watermelon and the vegetable is carrots.
The secretary report was by Nan Stoling.
The inspirations were by Elaine Harris, the household tip by Chris McCracken, jokesby Elaine Harris and Jeanne Lowe. The smile was by Jessie Skillman.
Leader Dianna Lewis had a Thanksgiving trivia game for the program. The winners were Silvana Reed and Jessie Skillman.
The meeting was adjourned with the Friendship circle and the TOPS Prayer.
TOPS meets Wednesdays at the First Presbyterian Church with a weigh-in from 11 to 12:55 p.m., followed by a meeting from 1 to 1:45 p.m. There is a handicap ramp by the side door of the parking lot.
