SALAMANCA, N.Y. — Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino will deal a double dose of star power when the legendary Dwight Yoakam and special guests The Mavericks perform at the Seneca Allegany Event Center at 7 p.m. April 12. Tickets go on sale at noon Friday.
Dwight Yoakam and The Mavericks are coming together for a night that promises to be filled with music, dancing and memories. Known for his honky-tonk anthems and iconic voice, Yoakam has been delighting audiences for the last 40 years.
He burst onto the country music scene in the mid-1980s, with his first three albums all reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
His long list of hit songs includes two number one singles — “Streets of Bakersfield,” and “I Sang Dixie” — along with 12 additional top 10 numbers. Original songs like “Guitars, Cadillacs,” “It Won’t Hurt,” “Little Ways,” “I Got You,” “Turn It On, Turn It Up, Turn Me Loose,” and “A Thousand Miles from Nowhere,” along with stunning covers of artists from Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash to Cheap Trick and Queen, helped earn Yoakam multiple Grammy Awards and legions of fans around the world.
With his newly released 21st studio album, “Brighter Days,” Yoakam brings a fresh energy and timeless sound to the stage.
Joining him are The Mavericks, whose unique blend of country, rock, and Tex-Mex styles has set them apart as genre-defying musicians. Known for their high-energy shows and hits like “Dance the Night Away,” The Mavericks are sure to keep audiences on their feet.
Tickets start at $55.
