BROCKWAY — Aiden Patton threw five touchdown passes, four of which went to Blake Pisarcik, as Brockway handed Smethport a 60-7 defeat in the Hubs’ final game of the season.
Brockway will move on to face St. Marys for the District 9 Class 3A title.
Piscarcik hauled in touchdown passes of 29 and 46 yards from Patton in the first quarter and scores covering 21 and 31 yards in the second quarter.
Also for Brockway in the first half, Patton threw a 11-yard touchdown pass to Carter Guaglianone, Colton Ross scored on a 4-yard run and Johnny Varischetti a 5-yard run.
Smethport scored in the fourth quarter on Aiden Tanner’s 8-yard touchdown pass to Alex Yeager.
Elysabeth Myers had a touchdown run in the fourth quarter for Brockway, and Ben Bash threw a 53-yard touchdown pass to Cole Senior.
Patton finished with 348 yards passing, completing 15-of-16 passes, while Pisarcik had nine receptions for 220 yards.
For Smethport, Zach Hungiville had 23 yards rushing and Boe Kirkman 21, while Tanner completed 12-of-24 passes for 129 yards. Owen Roundsville had six receptions for 59 yards, Yeager three for 49, Kirkman one for 32 and Rylan Shields one for 20. Rounsville also had 12 yards rushing.
