Current Events Club
The Current Events Club of Bradford met for its October meeting at the First Presbyterian Church on Monday. The meeting was called to order by president Barbara Clark. New member Judy Fox was welcomed. During the business meeting, members were made aware of local disaster relief efforts for Hurricane Helene. For next month, members were reminded of our Community Awareness Days collection for the Friendship Table.
Marcie Schellhammer of The Bradford Era spoke to the group about “National Newspaper Week.” A question-and-answer session was held after her enlightening talk. A tea was provided and served by Brenda Baker and Nancy Bess. Our next meeting will be Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 at the First Presbyterian Church.
