PORT ALLEGANY — It’s Spirit Week at Port Allegany High School as the student council prepares for the Gators’ 2024 Homecoming.
Monday was pajama pant day; Tuesday was Mr. Van Gorden Day; today is Twin Day; Thursday is Wacky Tourist Day and Friday is Orange and Black Day.
The annual Homecoming Parade will be held at 6 p.m. Friday with lineup at 5 o’clock. The parade route will go from Pearl to Mill, down Main Street to Arnold Avenue to the football field parking lot. A bonfire will follow the parade.The Junior High Homecoming Dance will be held in the auxiliary gym from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Homecoming activities Saturday include the Gators versus Kane Wolves football game with kick off at 1:30 p.m. Introduction of the court and announcement of the king and queen will take place at halftime.
The Senior High Homecoming Dance will begin at 7 o’clock with the crowning of the king and queen at 7:30 p.m. Parents and other guests may attend the crowning. The dance will end at 10.
