EMPORIUM — Calling all witches, wizards and magical creatures-in-training, the Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library will cast a spell of enchantment when Wizarding Days kicks off with Care of Magical Creatures 101 Craft from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 30.
Grab your wands and robes to craft your own magical companion in this hands-on, wizard-approved workshop in which you’ll adopt and design your own fluffy, purring Pygmy Puff.
This magical event is open to aspiring wizards ages 10 and older (the age limit is a suggestion as hot glue will be used). Spaces are limited, so register online or by calling (814) 486-8011.
“We’re thrilled to bring a little bit of Hogwarts to our library,” said library clerk and program coordinator Matt Nolder. “The Pygmy Puff craft is a whimsical and creative way for our magical guests to make something truly magical. And this is just the beginning — there’s so much more in store as Wizarding Days continue.”
