PORT ALLEGANY — S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library now has a text-only number, (814) 989-8348 — a convenient way to quickly communicate requests for library material renewals and reserves. The text-only number is also a resource for patrons who need assistive devices for speech and hearing.
Additionally, the library will contact patrons about their available reserves, overdue books and lost books via text when feasible. Patrons can still call the landline at (814) 642-9210 or email swsmith@swsmithlibrary.org for other communications.
