KANE — A meeting of the local chapter of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) – Allegheny Mountain Section #0203 will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Wilds Sonshine Factory in Kane.
Allegheny Mountain Section #0203 invites you to join us for an evening at “The Wilds Sonshine Factory” on Thursday, September 19th, beginning at 6:00 PM!

The cost to attend is $25.00 per person – ASQ membership is not required to attend. Reservations with payment are due by Friday.
Payments can be made via Venmo to @asqsection0203 or contact Janice Schatz at 814-971-2848 for alternate payment methods.
The Wilds Sonshine Factory, located at 3480 Route 6 West of Kane, is a unique destination on several fronts, primarily for their signature product line — “seed to still” spirits made from locally grown sunflower seeds.
The event is an opportunity to network with other quality/quality-related professionals in the area, as well as learn more about the benefits of ASQ membership.
The group is looking to grow its membership.
Membership in the Allegheny Mountain Section #0203 has continued to decline over the past several years, and is in serious jeopardy of losing its section charter which would result in members being absorbed into the Jamestown, N.Y., or other adjacent chapters.
The local chapter wants to stay viable and offer more opportunities such as this to local quality professionals, with informative meetings, training opportunities, and a strong network of quality professionals in our local region. Volunteers are needed to serve as officers and chairpersons for the 2025 membership year to keep the section going. Nominations for 2025 officers are currently underway.
ASQ is a global leader in quality and boasts the world’s largest network of diverse professionals across multiple industries dedicated to the principles of quality in pursuit of achieving operational excellence.
