RIDGWAY — The Bradford boys golf team lost to Ridgway by a score of 227-237 on Tuesday.
Tarren Reese earned medalist honors for the Owls, carding a 41.
“Tarren had four pars and five bogeys on the night,” said Bradford coach Travis Faulkner. “He hit some good shots along with good putting.
Alex Pilon shot a season-best 47 for the Owls with three pars.
“Alex had a good round and we hope this gets him going for the remainder of the season,” Faulkner said.
Danny Marasco and AJ Lama each shot 49s, while Jamin Bell carded a 51.
“We need to do a better job getting off the tee box,” Faulkner said. “Most of our kids shot under their average or close to it.”
Bradford is at Elk County Catholic on Thursday before hosting the Bradford Invitational on Saturday at the Pennhills Club. Over 65 local golfers are expected to compete.
