COUDERSPORT — The Coudersport boys and Oswayo Valley girls took first place at Tuesday’s North Tier League meet at Coudersport Area Recreational Park.
Coudersport finished with 28 points in the boys’ race, followed by Smethport (42) and Otto-Eldred (58). Those were the only three teams that had enough runners to score.
Oswayo Valley was the only girls’ team that had enough runners to score on the girls’ side.
Andrew Coriaty won the boys race with a time of 18:43. Kaylynn George of Oswayo Valley won the girls race in 24:53.
Finishing second through 10th in the boys’ race were Coudersport’s Brandon Crosby, Otto-Eldred’s Zach Housler, Coudersport’s Carl Bryant, Smethport’s Isaac Bailey, Smethport’s Matt Benson, Smethport’s Joe Henderson, Coudersport’s Bryce Manns, Cameron County’s Seamus Callahan and Oswayo Valley’s Elliott Colton.
Following George in the girls’ race were Oswayo Valley’s Evalyn Abdo, Cameron County’s Clara Clark, Smethport’s Isla Lehmier, Oswayo Valley’s Mia Shaffer, Oswayo Valley’s Ella Bee, Cameron County’s Lydia Banks, Northern Potter’s Emma Haynes and Northern Potter’s Marian Hamilton.
