The Bradford High boys golf team was edged by St. Marys at the Pennhills Club, 217-234.
It represented a big improvement for the Owls, who were 18 strokes better than they were in their last home match.
Danny Marasco and Tarren Reese each shot a 43, while Mitchell Brinsky and Ean Wright each shot 49 and Declan Smith 50.
“Tarren birdied hole 13 and Danny only had one hole above a bogey,” said Bradford coach Travis Faulkner. “This was a career low for Danny. We did better on the greens today as a team. We need to continue to improve with our wedges.”
The Owls return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Ridgway’s Laurel Mill.
