The time is almost here for EA Sports College Football 25. The highly-anticipated video game returns next week for players across the country. And with its nearing release, EA Sports released its top 100 players on Wednesday, featuring three of Penn State’s top talents.
Abdul Carter, the explosive All-Big Ten linebacker turned edge rusher, leads the way for the Nittany Lions. Carter boasts a 91 overall rating and ranks as the No. 47 player in the game. He stands as the No. 4 defensive end in the game behind only Tennessee’s James Pearce Jr. (95 overall), Kentucky’s Deone Walker (93) and Ohio State’s Jack Sawyer (92).
Kevin Winston Jr. is Penn State’s second-best rated player in the game with a 91 overall and a No. 57 ranking in the top 100. Winston, the Nittany Lions’ leading tackler in 2023, is the second-highest rated strong safety behind Virginia’s Jonas Sanker (92).
Nick Singleton is the third and final Penn State player inside EA Sports’ top 100. Singleton, the dynamic junior running back, owns a 91 overall and the No. 64 spot in the top 100.
Singleton is ranked as the 10th-best tailback in the game behind Oklahoma State’s Ollie Gordon (96), Ohio State’s Quinshon Judkins (95), North Carolina’s Omarion Hampton (93), Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson (93), Cal’s Jaydn Ott (93), Texas Tech’s Tahj Brooks (92), Kansas’ Devin Neal (92), Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty (91) and Michigan’s Donovan Edwards (91).
Penn State is one of the top teams in EA Sports College Football 25, which has a release date of July 19. The Nittany Lions own an 88 overall rating, ninth-best in the game. Penn State has an 87 overall offense and 88 overall defense, good for 12th and ninth, respectively.
