The folks over at Taco Inc know that the best way to beat the heat is with some delicious authentic Mexican food and a cold signature margarita.

Their extensive menu features something for everyone, including enchiladas, street tacos, fajitas and quesadillas. Not to mention their amazingly filling, giant burritos.

“People do love the burritos, they are for sure a meal on their own,” said Ashaunti Damore, general manager.

“We pride ourselves on offering a filling meal at a good price and having larger portion sizes – nobody is going to leave here hungry.”

Taco Inc is a chain restaurant featuring four locations, all within about an hour of each other. The next nearest location to Bradford in St. Marys. Damore moved here in February from Punxsutawney, where the Taco Inc mother restaurant is located.

“I have really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place and all of the people here have been very welcoming and friendly,” Damore said.

The restaurant opened its doors at 27 Main St. in Bradford a little more than a year ago. They have offerings for lunch and dinner, including specials. There is also a full bar with drink specials available. For summer, they are offering eight new icy drinks to beat the heat, including a fruity Long Island iced tea, a Mezcal-rita, Mocktail Oasis and a mojito cocktail.

“This location being right on Main Street is great because we get a decent amount of foot traffic,” Damore said.

“The community around here has been so supportive and really seems to enjoy our food. I think that it is because we offer something different and add a little bit of culture.”

The restaurant features a staff of 10 people and serves about 500 to 600 customers in an average week.

The talented staff are a tightly knit team. Damore said that they are her favorite part of working at the restaurant.

“The people here are really amazing and it is great to be on a team with them,” Damore said.

Damore herself is a talented artist, who has painted murals throughout the restaurant.

“They are a work in progress,” Damore laughed.

“Hopefully they will keep improving over time, like everything else around here.”

The restaurant features happy hour from 7 to 9 p.m. every Monday through Thursday, featuring $2 margaritas. More specials and a full menu can be found on their website tacoincbradford.com.
