To ensure children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session, Bradford Area School District will offer free lunches this summer at several locations.
Any child age 18 and younger is eligible to receive a free lunch. Federal regulations require meals to be eaten onsite; no takeouts. Children are not required to be enrolled in BASD, and there are no income requirements.
Lunch will be offered Monday through Friday at Bradford High School and Monday through Thursday at Fretz and both elementary schools.

Local daycares, grandparents, babysitters, visitors and residents are encouraged to bring children 18 and younger for a free lunch. For groups of more than five children, call ahead at (814) 362-3845, ext. 5051, after 9 a.m.
