CLAYTON BRINSKY is a senior in the Marketing program. For his co-op placement, he learned all facets of business while working at Alleghany Industrial Insulation. He worked both in the office and in the field and learned about pricing, costs, estimating and, most importantly, customer relations.
“My favorite part of doing co-op was learning how business works in real time, from the office to the field, I was able to experience all aspects of it,” he said.
After graduation, Brinsky plans to attend St. Bonaventure for a degree in business administration and management so that he can be prepared to inherit leadership of Alleghany Industrial Insulation.

ADAM WARD is a senior who started in the Electrical Occupations program during his sophomore year. During his junior and senior years, Ward worked co-op at Gleason Construction Inc.
“Throughout co-op I have done multiple different jobs, some of my favorite include running new wiring, doing services and troubleshooting things that weren’t working,” Ward said. “The best part about co-op is the knowledge I gained from working in the field. I also want to thank my employer Mike Gleason for providing me the opportunity to do co-op.”
After graduation, Ward plans to join the IBEW Local 5 Union to be a journeyman electrician.

BRENDAN WARNER is a senior in the Carpentry program. He started working at Gleason Construction Inc. during his junior year. While working at Gleason, Warner learned trusses, drywall, framing and so much more. He also does a lot of physical labor.
“My favorite thing about my job is the people I work with and how much I learn from my co-workers,” Warner said.
After graduation, he plans to attend college for either mechanical engineering or project management.

LEAH HAYDEN is a senior in the Marketing program. She was employed at Devon Kloss — State Farm Insurance for her co-op placement. While there, her primary responsibility was to help customers by providing excellent customer service. In addition, Hayden processed payments, answered phones, followed up on Internet leads and assisted with marketing emails/mailings.
“My favorite part about co-op was meeting new people and experiencing new things,” she said.
After graduation, Hayden plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
