Seven players — four from Pennsylvania and three from New York, were added to the Big 30 game.
The Pennsylvania players represent, St. Marys, Johnsonburg, Ridgway and Eisenhower, while the New York players are represented by Hinsdale, Portville and Allegany-Limestone.
Big 30 press day is slated for Sunday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Pitt-Bradford’s Blaisdell Hall Bromeley Family Theater.
Mason Sheeley
St. Marys Area High School
Height: 6’2” — Weight: 200 Lbs.
Offense: G — Defense: DE
Mason will begin his college education at Penn State Behrend in the fall. He will major in Mechanical Engineering and plans to acquire his bachelor’s degree. He is a National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete and scholarship recipient. He has been a high honor roll student through his high school tenure at St. Mary’s from 2020-2024. He was also named Rotary Student of the Month. Athletically, he was named his team’s defensive MVP. He was also a three-year letterman in football and one of his team’s captains. He was an All-Conference Defensive Lineman in 2023. In addition, he was named Big 30 Athletic Fund all-star defensive lineman and is a four-time Academic Gold Team member for PA Football News. He is looking forward to playing in the Big 30 Game because it is a prestigious game between NY and PA that he has aspired to play in since he was a freshman. It is also most likely the last football game he will ever play in. His favorite football memory was seeing SMAHS ranked 13th in the state after week one. His hobbies include hunting, weightlifting, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. His favorite football team is the Penn State Nittany Lions, and his favorite player is T.J. Watt.
Eric Hoffman
Johnsonburg Area High School
Height: 6’0” — Weight: 185 Lbs.
Offense: RB — Defense: LB
Eric plans to attend Alfred University and major in Health and Fitness Management. He will also continue his football career there. He was named a Region 2 all-star and was on the Big 30 players to watch list. He is a High Honor Roll student and a Member of the National Honor Society. He is looking forward to playing one more game with some of his friends. His most memorable moment playing football was scoring his first touchdown. His hobbies include pickle ball, basketball, among other sports, lifting and hanging out with his friends. His favorite NFL team is the New York Giants, and his favorite player is Saquon Barkley.
Jackson Kilpeck
Ridgway Area High School
Height: 6’0” — Weight: 170 Lbs.
Offense: RB — Defense: OLB
Jackson plans to attend Penn State Behrend and major in Engineering. While at Ridgway, he received the President’s High Honor Roll Award, the National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete Award and was voted to be his team’s captain in both football and basketball. Jackson is a member of the National Honor Society. He is playing in the Big 30 Game to make new friends and play one last football game before college. His favorite moment playing football was his first kick return for a touchdown in his junior year. His hobbies include lifting, hunting, fishing, and playing sports, in general. His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, and his favorite player is George Pickens.
Derek Childs
Eisenhower Middle/High School
Height: 5’11” — Weight: 160 Lbs.

Derek plans to attend the Southeast Lineman Training Center. He wants to become a lineman and make a lot of money as a result. He was a two-year ironman and three-year letterman. He is looking forward to the Big 30 Game to be back on the field to play one more game with his friends. His favorite memory playing football was a 51-yard touchdown that happened in the playoffs. His hobbies are hunting, fishing, hiking, and golfing. His favorite NFL team is the Dallas Cowboys, and his favorite player is Micah Parsons.
Sam Eaton
Allegany-Limestone High School
Height: 6’3” — Weight: 210 Lbs.

Sam plans to major in Neuroscience, while he attends school at Brockport University. He is a high honor roll student and was named Rookie of the Year at Allegany-Limestone Central School. Sam has dedicated his time and body to excel during his football playing years. He enjoyed working with his friends and teammates and wants to put his skills and efforts to work into the Big 30 team, as he represents both his school and his state. His favorite memory playing football was playing against the toughest team in their league and beating them in the first half. His main hobby is volunteering with the local EMS. His favorite football team is the Georgia Bulldogs, and his favorite player is Brock Bowers.
Dayton Shaw
Portville Central School
Height: 5’9” — Weight: 250 Lbs.

Dayton plans to attend Erie Community College, where he will major in auto body repair and play football. He was a 2021 Big 30 Athletic Fund Honorable Mention and bestowed the honor of being named to the 2023 All-League 2nd Team. He is also a High Honor Roll student and a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. He has been a fan of the Big 30 game for a long time and knows how much of a big deal it is in his community and surrounding area, which makes him want to take part. His favorite memory was getting an interception, while playing on the defensive line, as a sophomore. His favorite NFL team is the Miami Dolphins, and his favorite player is Christian Wilkins.
Henry Schwartz
Hinsdale Central School
Height: 6’0” — Weight: 187 Lbs.

Henry will attend Brockport College in the fall, where he will major in Physical Education. He plans to acquire a bachelor’s degree and move south. He was named Golf MVP and made the 1st Team All-Star Teams in both basketball and baseball. He is looking forward to the Big 30 Game to give back to his community and to entertain the fans. His favorite memory was his first touchdown in Cuba. His hobbies are weightlifting and golf. His favorite NFL team is the Buffalo Bills, and his favorite player is George Pickens.
