Internationally recognized speaker MelissaRoshan (MelRo) Potter presented at Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of McKean County hosted MelRo’s keynote presentation, “Trauma to Triumph,” at Harriett B. Wick Chapel. MelRo had a tumultuous childhood spent in the foster care system. Vowing to overcome, she not only later embarked on her journey toward healing, but also became committed to encouraging others to rise from their painful pasts.
