The Zippo/Case Museum invites Bradford-based makers and artisans to apply for free booth space at the upcoming Made in Bradford 2024 celebration slated for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 20, to be held rain or shine on the museum grounds.
Coinciding with the 135th Anniversary of the Case® brand, the event will celebrate W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.’s rich history of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurialism in Bradford. The Made in Bradford 2024 celebration will feature exclusive collectible Zippo and Case products, with food vendors, giveaways and a collectors’ swap tent, among other family friendly activities. One particular highlight will be an exhibition featuring the many skilled craftspeople and artisans of Bradford.
“The Made in Bradford event in 2023 was a tremendous success and a continued source of pride shared by all our employees. Last year’s event really awakened the community to the unique variety of talent that can be found in and around the Bradford area. We’re thrilled to extend this opportunity to new and returning makers this year,” said Halley Burnett, associate community manager for the Case Collectors Club. “Small businesses are a part of the foundation that holds our community together, we can’t wait to showcase them again this July.” Booth applications are available at the Zippo/Case Museum. Applicants must make their products in Bradford to participate. Booths will be situated under a large tent on the Zippo/Case Museum grounds. Participating makers will be assigned an 8-foot table and two chairs. Special setup needs should be noted on maker applications.
Applications should be completed and returned to the Zippo/Case Museum in person or by e-mail to events@caseknives.com by April 30. In addition to local artisans, applications are being accepted for Zippo and Case collectors to swap on the Zippo/Case Museum grounds the same day. Those interested in swapping should apply by visiting www.casecollectorsclub.com/events. Applications are also available at the Zippo/Case Museum.
