The non-profit Futures Rehabilitation Center of Bradford offers vocational support and social programming to individuals with disabilities from McKean County.
Wednesday was a full day of fun and informative information for Futures clients at its annual Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Celebration. Businesses such as Evergreen Elm, Community Links, YWCA and Milestone HCQU helped staff and individuals throughout the day with informative presentations, a sensory room and information center.
The afternoon was reserved for a special presentation from Bradford City Police Chief Mike Ward and Officer Shawn Labadie.
Futures hosts this program annually in recognition of March and April as Developmental Disability Awareness and Autism Awareness months.
