Advice to anyone concerned about the southern border problem of the last seven-plus years. Please contact your government representatives and plead with them to work with President Biden on bipartisan solutions.

The two parties must work together and not automatically refuse to support compromise positions.

With the exception of indigenous people, we are all immigrants. My family came from Germany in 1731 and Scotland in 1780 seeking a better life. We are so blessed to live in our economically rich country. It is understandable that refugees want the life most of us have.

As Jesus explained in the Book of Luke and the parable of the Good Samaritan, we should “Go and do likewise.”

Since we can’t help everyone, we need a compassionate ideology. Notify your congressmen that our country needs to stop the infighting and tackle the border problem.
