SALAMANCA, N.Y. — The Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino is gearing up to celebrate 20 years of business and entertainment with an outdoor party to remember.
The milestone event will include an outdoor concert by country music superstars Big & Rich featuring Gretchen Wilson with Cowboy Troy & DJ Sinister at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 25, part of the casino’s 20th anniversary concert series.
Tickets go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. and start at $50.
Just like Seneca Allegany, the music duo Big & Rich burst onto the country scene as a game-changing force 20 years ago. John Rich and Big Kenny, each a remarkable individual talent, came together and seamlessly blended rock and hip-hop into their country framework, starting with their 2004 triple-platinum album “Horse of a Different Color.”
From there, Big & Rich quickly shot to superstardom and produced 19 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Among their most memorable hits are “Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy),” “Wild West Show” and “8th of November.”
The duo’s high-energy performances added to their legacy and have captivated audiences for two decades. Other accolades include being first-rate songwriters, producers and musicians with a roster of collaborations and hits produced or penned for various artists including Jason Aldean, Gretchen Wilson, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Merle Haggard, Bon Jovi, John Anderson, Willie Nelson, Jewel, Keith Anderson, Hank Williams, Jr., John Legend, Wyclef Jean and Tim McGraw.
Big & Rich were previously booked to perform at the casino in April 2020, which was postponed and eventually canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Joining Big & Rich on their 2024 Celebration Tour will be special guests Gretchen Wilson, Cowboy Troy & DJ Sinister.
Wilson became an instant star with her debut single “Redneck Woman,” which spent six weeks at No. 1 in 2004 and earned her a Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance.
Wilson’s other hits like “When I Think About Cheatin’,” “Here for the Party” and “I Don’t Feel Like Loving You Today” are among her Top 10 singles and 10 million albums sold.
DJ Sinister founded the internationally recognized rock band Twisted Method, toured as part of OzzFest, became a reality TV star and is currently touring with Big & Rich.
Dylan Schneider has been named an “Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music, Pandora, Taste of Country and Sounds Like Nashville and declared “Country Music’s Next Rising Star” by Billboard.
