RISE Physical Therapy, 322 W. Main St., Smethport, held its grand opening Saturday with a ribbon cutting by Dr. Chenae Day and Rachel Arenivas. Day, a doctor of physical therapy, is a veteran who earned her degree while completing her service. She has served as a physical therapist for more than 10 years. Day will offer physical therapy evaluation and treatment. Arenivas provides wellness treatments including salt scrubs and targeted massage. RISE also offers an infrared sauna at the Smethport facility. RISE is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment, including some Saturdays. They will host a free stretch class at 9 a.m. Feb. 17 (RSVP required) and offer “girls nights” when as many as five women can hang out and receive treatments.
