GREENVILLE — Thiel College announced 404 students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester.

A student must attain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale while being enrolled full-time to be eligible. Local students achieving the distinction were: Marissa Gulnac of Ridgway, exercise science; Alexa Horton of Kane, early child education/special education; Donald Pattison of Bradford, exercise science. Olivia Postlewait of Port Allegany, conservation biology. Emmalee Sheeler of Rixford, mathematics.

READING — Olivia Rohrbaugh of Galeton is one of 111 Alvernia student-athletes named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll for the 2023 fall semester, as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference on Friday.

Across the conference, a total of 1,690 student-athletes who competed in men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball were recognized.

The fall academic honor roll comprises student-athletes like Rohrbaugh who competed in a varsity level sport and registered a fall term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or better.
