OLEAN, N.Y. — The Tri-County Arts Council is calling on area artists to submit their art or fine craft for its “Something Big” large works show.
Something big is happening at the Tri-County Arts Council. After years of small works shows, it was decided to give area artists (including those in Pennsylvania) a chance to stretch out and show off.
This show is juried, and artists can submit up to three pieces of art or fine craft, any media. Artists do, however, need to be a new or current member of the TCAC to enter. The TCAC has memberships ranging from individual to studio, and they start as low as $20.
For full guidelines including how to enter and membership information, visit tricountyartscouncil.org. Entry deadline is March 2.
“Something Big” large works show takes place March 23 to April 27. A reception will be held 5 to 7 p.m. March 23. TCAC is also looking for art show sponsors; contact the council at (716) 372-7455 or info@myartscouncil.net for information.
Visit the Tri-County Arts Council at 110 W. State St. The hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday.
