OLEAN, N.Y. — Allegany native Dan Jordan, Jordan Photography & Consulting, will host the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce’s next lunch-and-learn set Jan. 25.
Jordan will provide an overview of basic digital photography. People new to photography, those who recently received or purchased a new camera, and those who take good photos but are unsure how or why, are all encouraged to attend.
Attendees will learn the basics for capturing good photos from their cameras for sharing with friends and relatives via social media or in print form. Bring your point-and-shoot or DSLR camera, if you have one!
Key content includes; fundamentals of how your digital camera works, important settings to understand, and bad habits to avoid. This one-hour session covers the basics; those who wish to learn more can follow up with an intermediate photography session at a later date. Cellphone photography will not be covered.
