A homeless man charged earlier this week with child pornography was arraigned again Thursday for failing to register with Megan’s Law.
Joseph Frontera III, 30, is charged with failing to register, a second-degree felony.
According to the criminal complaint, Frontera is subject to a 25-year sex offender registration requirement under Megan’s Law from a prior offense. Bradford City Police received information that Frontera was staying at a house on Circle Street in Bradford, when the address that is registered for him is on Sullivan Street in Olean, N.Y. When he spoke to police, he said he knew he needed to update his address, but couldn’t get a ride to the state police barracks.
Frontera was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Dom Cercone and remanded to jail in lieu of $1,000 bail. He is scheduled for Central Court on Nov. 30.
